Rosie Bumgardener

Rosie is our four year old Dachshund. One day she came inside from playing and was very stiff. She whined when touched. We took her to our local veterinarian and by then she had lost control of her hind quarters. The vet put her on medication and offered us three options; wait and see what happens, surgery for $3,000 to $5,000 or euthanize her. Fortunately I learned of Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM) from a coworker who had the same thing happen to her doxie.

We took Rosie to see Dr. Burgess at God's Creatures Animal Clinic in Stuart. Dr. Burgess felt confident that VOM would help Rosie without intrusive surgery or prolonged expensive medications that could have side effects. We began the treatment and noticed a significant improvement two days after the first treatment. She gained strength daily. One week later she had her second treatment. The days that followed had Rosie standing and moving, albeit a bit wobbly, but she didn't care, she just wanted to get loose and play! Rosie is firing on all fours now. You would not know she'd had the injury.
